π NEVADA- 9th STOP π©
The intense heat, the endless hours of driving . . . we made a last minute change to our plans on Friday, July 10th, while spending our second night at Zion. We changed our Grand Canyon reservation to one night and cancelled the trip over to Sedona. I was bummed to miss out on this awesome town, and the jeep tour we arranged. But, we'll be back another day to enjoy more of Arizona. We booked a hotel room at The Mandalay Bay's Delano and decided to take a family trip to Vegas.
We checked in to The Delano and headed straight to the pool. There was a lazy river and we spent almost an hour floating through. The sun is so strong here; I don't know how people adjust to this weather. The wave pool and water fun were the perfect way to cool off. We had dinner and headed back to our room for a movie and an early bedtime- in a bed!
They have a Shark Reef Aquarium here. We made reservations to go tomorrow at 10:00. . . more fun in Vegas tomorrow!
Shark Reef Aquarium, The Mandalay Bay

I know, these are ridiculous. But, this trip is all about making memories and the photos to capture the fun- so we bought the cheesy, overpriced photos.π
Our trip is complete, the kids saw a real Komodo Dragon. All of the incredible places and sights we've seen will be forgotten and the new favorite will be this aquarium attraction. π
This aquarium is pretty cool. There are over 2,000 different animals in 1.6 million gallons of water. The kids loved the sharks, sawfish, giant rays, seat turtles, piranha, jelly fish, burmese python, and of course, the komodo dragon. π¦π ππ¦π’
After visiting the Aquarium we went out to the pools and enjoyed a day in the sun.
This was a great break from the RV living and a perfect spot for fun in the 110 degree heat. We're back in the RV and headed to California for 5 more nights of fun! First stop- Malibu! π
Spotted on our drive . . .
Pretty cool temperature gauge and a new city I challenge you to pronounce π
